In response to 2019's D&AD New Blood Awards Brief: The Case For Her. The purpose of this project is to tackle the taboo of speaking about menstruation, particularly in Ireland, a conservative country where people generally tend to avoid conversations that make them feel uncomfortable. Targeting men and women, the design solution takes the form of an awareness campaign whereby men appear in cinematic black and white documentary style photography further contextualised by the accompanying film script dialogue, paying homage to LIFE magazines photojournalism while simultaneously drawing out the ridiculous nature of the period taboo.
